Joe Konze from Trainwreck Sports discusses the Utica Comets and Buffalo Sabres on a recent episode of Marty’s Illegal Stick.

Joe Konze from Trainwreck Sports was on a recent episode of Marty’s Illegal Stick to discuss the Buffalo Sabres and what’s happening in the world of hockey. Trainwreck Sports is a multi-media sports site that takes a “no holds barred” approach to covering the Buffalo sports scene (you can check out Trainwreck Sports here https://trainwrecksports.com). Being from Buffalo, he is familiar not only with the Sabres, but the Rochester Americans and the American Hockey League in general. Here is a clip from the show of Joe and crew discussing the Utica Comets and New Jersey Devils prospects – especially Alexander Holtz.

The Utica Comets and Alexander Holtz are the topic of discussion in this clip from Marty’s Illegal Stick.

Joe is obviously a Buffalo Sabres fan, but he is an objective observer of the team. Anyone who follows hockey knows the Sabres have been suffering for a while, but there could very well be light at the end of the tunnel for the team. In the clip below, Joe tells us which of the Sabres prospects to watch for not only in Rochester, but also at the University of Michigan – and his name is not Owen Power.

These are small samples of what was talked about during Konze’s visit to the show. Among the other topics discussed were the state of the Sabres, Jack Eichel, what the future holds in Buffalo, the top five Sabres of all time, Nikita Kucherov’s injury, and Coach Gary Heenan and the Utica College Pioneers.
